If you aren't Jon Jones or Roy Nelson, do not fall in love with your striking
Roy Nelson? Lol
I dunno if this was a case of her falling in love with the striking or just getting hammered right off the bat and getting zero going.
If you don't like getting punched in the face, don't become an MMA fighter.
Iron chin and power in his shots, but is really a BJJ black belt
maia did, it sucked for a while but now he adapted it to his grappling game
you must be well rounded enough to improve your strenghts
Cigano whooped that ass!
Napao did the same thing
Did you not see her trying to clinch? She wanted none of the striking but couldn't do anything about it
If you mean batting at her arms like a cro magnon then yeah
What if you're Dan Henderson?
It's not that simple. In every fight, even if marginally, striking has to come before grappling. Amanda was able to use her striking to prevent the grappling all together.
Forgot about Hendo.
MMA goes through cycles where some arts gain more relative importance than other arts.
It obviously started with BJJ. Wrestling had its cycle.
I think we are in the middle of boxing's cycle. People need to start paying a bit more attention to their hands.
ronda didnt fall in love with her striking. her striking was so far behind nunes, she didnt even get a chance to attempt to take the fight to the ground.
