Really I just thought that was a great line. Looks like either Margarito or Andy Lee for Chavez. Since Canelo and Chavez were separated at birth I think it might be likely to see a Canelo-Cotto if Chavez choose Marg.

Lee or Margarito, who do you prefer? Personally I'd like to see Lee ... if I wasn't Irish it's be Marg in a snap. But Lee seems to be in keeping with Chavez Jr's current progression.

Reading the article Merchant's bias really comes out when talking about a potential Chavez Jr vs Martinez fight. Merchant acts like no one wants to see the fight but that's garbage. It's one of the most interesting fights in the division. But remember Freddie Roach and Larry Merchant are in-laws and Roach is Chavez Jr's trainer.

Yes I don't like Chavez Jr. He's pampered by the WBC and has been cut favors left and right from Jose Suliaman.

Regardless of his "Favors" or not. He fights are fun as hell to watch. He is a real worker in the ring and Brings it everytime the bell rings. His DWI and wieght issue bother me but come fight night I am a fan, NO MATTER who he is in the ring with.

I kind of feel the same but I'm not a fan but I always watch.

Terrible fight for Chavez Jr. He has nothing to gain by beating up a one eyed over the hill Margarito. Margarito just needs to retire before he goes permanently blind; what is his problem? Someone needs to sit him down and tell him that everyone is going to be punching is eye socket and no doctor or referee wants that on their conscious, they will stop the fight as soon as his eye is even a little bit puffy.Retire Margarito.

As for Chavez Jr. you promised Martinez the winner of the Chavez Jr. vs Rubio fight. Chavez Jr. won so I hope he calls up Martinez and makes that fight for the fans.
