In response to the Russian-Ukraine war they banned flags being brought out by fighters, since it would be unfair to just ban the Russian flag. I noticed in other promotions though they just asked that the Russian fighters bring regional or republic flags so they carried out the Dagestan flag, the Chechen Flag, Cossack flag etc.

I don't think you need to identify yourself nationally when some other nation identifies you nationally and decides you need to die for it.

Also, national economies and autonomies are a thing, pride be damned. So... pretty useless point
