Mentally weak fighters that everyone used to think was mentally strong.

Georges Rush st. Pierre deserves a nod in this thread

gets KO'd by Serra, becomes a 50/45 decision fighter that never strikes again in his career

Stopped reading at Jose Aldo.

Horrible example, guy lost one fight in a decade and by a bizarre finish that's not likely to repeat if they fought 50 more times.

I respect your opinion, but I don't think anyone who gets punched in the face for a living is mentally weak.

Aldo, Ronda, Cormier and Weidman are not mentally weak. If they were, they wouldn't have become world champions. They just know how to be annoying and salty every now and then.

You guys are just naming fighters who lost big fights.

Jose Aldo. That scar on his face, people thought he was a stone cold killer. Then he wilted to McGregor and has lost all fans respect since. Dude is now hated by many and just annoying in general imo.

Chris Weidman. This guy is going to destroy Rockhold in the rematch. Will make GSP vs Serra 2 look like a mother caressing her child.

lol @ Jose Aldo being mentally weak because he's campaigning for an instant rematch. I guess it's only ok for Conor to talk himself into big fights and everyone else that does it is annoying?

I bet you say Conor is a badass because he wants to rematch the guy that turned him into a panic wrestler.

You probably have more brain damage than Weidman took from that Rockhold beating.

No mentally wameak fighters. They just know how to count their losses. But some are mentally stronger than others though.

Jose won 18 fight in a row, got tagged (really good too) in the first 12 seconds lost, and now he's mentally weak? Thats weird.

I think he is referring to Aldo's embarrassing antics in the last few months. To be a long time champ takes a ton of mental strength, but he needs to regain his focus and composure for damn sure.

I remember thinking Palhares was going to be a force after he went to decision with Hendo and seemingly ate some big right hands. That fight was the exception to his career though. He usually wilts if things aren't going his way.

Matt Hamill came into the UFC and looked like he'd be a tough out for anyone, especially his wild brawl with Tim Boetsch. Seemed like Hamill was gonna be a bear to finish, but then Rich Franklin dispatched of him easily and he's been relatively tentative since.

How is getting KO'd in 13 seconds mentally breaking. As far as Ronda's so called mental strength, spending a few minutes listening to her talk is all you need to figure out that is a myth.

Hahahahahaha lol love it

It takes a very special person to get inside of a ring of any sort. Just so you fucking know that. Let's let an athlete at 9% body fat back you into a corner or a fence and resume beaten the fuck out of you until we call you mentally weak

Stopped reading after Aldo. How does getting ktfo make one mentally weak?

he succumbed to McGregor's mental game to the point where he ran at him point-blank throwing all technique out the window.

No cake or buffet will defeat Ronda!

Far out this place is crazy quick to make assumptions, Aldo got caught (yes it was legit, and a very good shot) but he hasnt been given a chance to redeem himself, it can still go either way. Lets all settle down with the judgement until we get a chance to see how he responds.

...and STILL!

out of control.
Heavyweight champ of the world! (If only she could make 265!)

Seriously, is that Ben Rothwell's body???

This was just an excuse to bash lol.
