Mental blocks when...

Does anyone have mental blocks when sparring your coaches or even some of your teammates? Particularly the ones with a lot of experience
 
I think that it is normal as your brain is shocked and learns. This is why the concept of drilling 2-3 combos is important. You make them habitual and in case your brain blocks, which is normal, your body has tools to fight back.
 
Some people are what we call "flat track bullies". It's a cricket term about batsmen that one bat well when the conditions suit them (pitch is benign etc) but the moment there's any adversity they crack.

Some guys just like to beat up on those they know they're better than and when sparring someone better, they shell up and cover up and refuse to even throw punches out of fear
