The article isn't really about sex. It's about how relationships affect men vs women. And how women usually take breakups better because they are more likely to seek emotional support outside of relationships compared to men who usually don't.

it's true but it's not that men don't seek support... it's that men couldn't give that kind of emotional support.
Friends'll try to make you forget but they (we) can't bear to listen for hours to the complaints of someone who, in reality, just wants to be told that he hasn't done anything wrong and that everything'll magically be resolved or forgotten.
