I was in 3rd or 4th Grade, we were playing soccer in school, and one of my classmates was a lanky Sudanese kid, the ball was in the air and I was ready to jump and clear it with my head, before I was able to do that, the Sudanese kid jumped *above* me... Like 2 whole meters above me, and kicked it with his LEGS. (inb4 manlet accusations... I was one of the taller kids in class)

I was shocked to my core, I thought jumps like these only happen in movies and cartoons.

Now as an Adult I look back, and wonder if I exaggerated the height of the jump... But the memory is vivid.

Sometimes your replay a memory enough times you’re not sure if you even remember it anymore or you just recreated it. Chances are pretty strong the kid made a spectacular jump that you are also exaggerating. Two things can be true.

This is what I tell myself "Surely it must've been an exaggeration!?" because it's hard to believe as an Adult...

But I remember it very clearly...

I now don't know for sure if I really did wake up late for college final exam since it's a recurring dream. Also have recurring dreams of consistently skipping one college class for the whole semester because I kept forgetting to refer to my class schedule.

I have had that same recurring dream about missing classes for a whole semester. Even way after college.

Having a lanky Sudanese bound high into the air for a soccer kick isn’t even that unique of a memory tbh

I had one of those recently. I graduated college in 96 so no idea why I had this dream but I kept getting lost trying to find my classes and didn't have my schedule. I also kept forgetting to do the homework.

How everyone thought Joe Biden would make a great president?
