They are overly obsessed with having title fights, not very PPV has to be a title fight.

    - Oh hey now, look, this card sucks, let's create another fucking belt so we can pretend this main event is actually interesting.
    - But sir, what if the weight class already has a champion?
    - Who cares, ya goof, make it an interim belt.
    - But Dana, sir, what if we already have a title fight scheduled and an interim belt's not an option?
    - Well fuck it, in that case we create a whole new weight class that nobody cares about. We need a shiny belt for the posters though.

This division will be a dumpster fire and even more bereft of talent that the other Women's divisions.

Trying to set up a summer mega fight too.

If Ronda and Holly win their next fights they'll rematch in a champion vs champion fight...But If Holly loses at UFC 208 they'll try to get Cyborg to fight for the 145 belt ASAP and do Cyborg X Ronda, champion vs champion

...If Ronda loses to Nunes tho it all blows up in their face

I was going to say "or if Cyborg loses to GDR" but then Ronda could just fight GDR at 145 lol.

Didn't need Meltzer to report it, it's painfully obvious. This "division" will not even have 10 fighters a year from now unless you count 135ers doing one-offs

Given that the UFC refused for YEARS to make a women's featherweight division, then had Cyborg spend a year cutting down to 140 for no good Goddamn reason, and then couldn't wait a month for her to be ready, that seems like the most reasonable explanation.

They are really stretching their credibility to beyond breaking point with this women's title. It's two bantamweights fighting for a make believe title in a division above them that doesn't exist. Absolute nonsense.

I'm sure there are plenty of gals who will be willing to fight at FW for a chance at the belt unless Cyborg starts a real murder rampage.

    And the AV.

One of the most underrated bands in history.

    Kudos.
