On his recent audio shows, Meltzer said ADR is considering going back to real fighting & Bellator is very interested

For those that don't know him

He said that over a month ago.

Not really news.

Why do they list wrasslin' belts as if they're accomplishments when they're all scripted, right? Is that to just keep the industry spin spinning?

Meltzer lists the belts to show the popularity and dedication of Del Rio to fans outside of the wrestling world. It also gives background to the person. There is a reason nobody is talking about the ROH wrestler quitting wrestling to start MMA.

That's great news! They can have him go against Tito, or Fedor, or Kimbo, or Rampage, or King Mo, or Cro Cop, or Manhoef, or Thompson, or Schilt, or...wow, there are so many awesome matches they can make here! Danas gotta be really jealous that he couldn't get him signed.

In Mexico and Japan, pro wrestling IS real. It's not scripted stupid kiddie WWE crap like in America, its like MMA with a different rule set.

" As with American wrestling, people often say that Mexican wrestling is "fake." In some respects, this is true. The winners of most matches are predetermined, in order to move along planned, soap opera style plotlines. The wrestlers are usually acting out parts -- they don't really hate one another"

Why do they list acting awards as if they're accomplishments when they're all scripted, right? Is that to just keep the industry spin spinning?

And why do actors make such a big deal about landing a lead role rather than a supporting casting? It's all scripted and fake, right?

That line is still as lame as the first time someone used it. When Christian Bale holds a presser to announce he's coming to the UFC let me know.

Your analogy is the equivalent of Carl Weathers claiming to be a former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

43 in counting

Has a 90% unintentionally hilarious overall rate as well.

And what's your source on this? Dana? LOL!

I wouldn't hold your breath on this guy fighting in Bellator, especially if he's working in three wrestling companies regularly. Even if he does fight, I don't think it will end well for him if he is juggling both enterprises.
