Dave Meltzer said on his show that he talked about the Brock fight with some people in the UFC and he was given the impression that it's not Mark Hunt.

He also said, with WWE's fear of concussions, Hunt is an unlikely opponent. As the % for a KO would be very high and WWE would likely have to approve the fight. Also mentioned that Brock had an option in his last contract for one Fedor fight in the UFC. But that was his old WWE contract, he isn't sure about the new one.

Jeremy Botter has also said on Twitter that it's likely not Hunt.

Guess that Carwin return is off the table then.

I really hope it's someone legit and not just some stupid match-up like Todd Duffee or something.

Could see it being a Struve. Maybe pull Barnett from the Arlovski fight but UFC doesn't tend to do that.

In all reality Bigfoot wouldn't be a bad match up. Brock isn't making a title run so it doesn't need to be a beast.

Of course not Hunt, what bring back that ppv draw just to knock his head out of the stadium...

Kind of happy if it isnt Hunt, that totally smelled of 19 seconds KO. With Brock's name value they dont need to pit him vs a known guy, but will they waste Brocks only comeback fight vs a guy like Harris or Hamilton? Also, Fedor fights Maldonado 3 weeks before UFC 200. Is that realistic to think he could fight at UFC 200?

I think the UFC will sign Minakov to fight Lesnar, who else are they going to give him? Todd Duffee is campaigning the fight and in his last fight he got dieded by Mir hahaha

Considering that fight is being promoted on Fight Pass, they aren't pulling Fedor from that fight. Fedor doesn't have a contract with anyone so he's free to sign with the UFC. But, Fedor breaks his hands a lot, and while he'll most likely finish Fabio fast, it's still dangerous, he might get hurt in some way, so I doubt they'll book him in another fight and promote him with that fight looming.

I think it's looking like it's going to be Josh Barnett.

It's Fedor. They're just waiting for him to come out of his fight with Maldonado healthy this weekend and sign the contract.

As much as I love lesnar, he has not business getting back on octagon unless by some way he found out not to panic if some one touches his face. Idk, I always viewed him as competitive guy and if he want to end his ufc career on a win, he should only come after he fixes his weakness or else anyone from ufc gonna make easy work for him

I'm hoping for Fedor, but they're announcing who it is tomorrow and Fedor is fighting in 12 days. I doubt they'll book Fedor with a fight 3 weeks before this one.

Who Cares, its a one and done sideshow...could care less unless it is Fedor.

But better questions is when the F is Hunt getting a fight....leaving a guy his age on the sidelines is dumb.

Watch it be open weight vs Punk lol...yeah I know.

Barnett. Makes the most sense.

He's fighting Arlovski. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they scrap that fight. A big(ish) name who is not a power puncher.
