Melquizael Costa has fought and won three times in the last four months for UFC

He has done well but his record is nothing to shout about.

Unless, of course - this continues.

Amazing turn-around though.
Pays the bills.

With how finite a career is in this sport. . . .when you're in the zone and you know it, why not just run with it? Like you say, fights and rankings aside, you're getting paid handsomely with short turnarounds. And if you put together a streak like Kumshot did, you've got insta-hype.

I'm getting sick of seeing him to be honest.

Igor Vovchanchan had 20 fights in a calendar year. In that timespan he fought one 4 fights in one night tournament and five 3 fights in one night shows. He won three and placed second in two. I'll update more later...🇺🇦🔱

Khamzat won first 3 fights in span of 2 months and 3 days.

Loopy Godinez had 3 fights within a month and a half. she won 2 of them

My favorite record that's kinda like this is Mokaev turning pro, going 10-0, and then fighting Perez, and all that time Perez never even won a fight lol.

Loopy probably would've went 3/3 if one of them hadn't been up a weight class lol.

He needs more defense. Top 10 fighters will beat him easily .

He's chugging along nicely but I don't see him as having much of a ceiling, either.

Surely this is a modern record for the business. I saw him to submit Fili sadly in February. Then he submitted CRod and went to war last night. We are witnessing a new Kevin Holland type and I haven't heard much about it lol
Amazing

Champs and stars are getting paid (comparatively to other sports) chum-change, yes. But no-name up-and-comers are getting paid just fine, especially if they fight 3-5 times in a year or so. Objectively, compared to most of humanity.
