Megan Olivi 'hurt' by Stephen A. Smith only acknowledging her "male colleagues"

Maybe when her job involves more than reading off a teleprompter really badly, she can get some recognition. I imagine most people watching UFC think she's incredibly superfluous.

Now......... Laura Sanko just would not be that bothered by this stuff. She would just roll with it and let it wash over her.
Megan Olivi (seems to me...) gets all angry and reactive and WORSE is that the people criticizing her SEE that and probably enjoy it which is what they WANT to see.

You cannot, in the 21st century, in almost ANY work environment or company, ALLOW yourself to be "hurt" or overtly offended or pissed-off about stuff like this. --- You just have to be TOUGHER THAN THAT. Just carry on, believe in yourself, in your abilities and skills and not let people making jibes GET TO YOU. Just shake it off and be stronger than that -- keep on Trucking and if you ARE genuinely good and tough and talented at what you do....then that will RISE TO THE SURFACE sand be noticed at some point and the people that DO matter (your bosses or people in power) will see that and have faith in you and reward you.

You cannot be perturbed by people (who don't really matter anyway) taking small potshots at you, ESPECIALLY when you are in a media/TV and/or public environment. Just ignore them and keep on going, and doing your thing.

Just my view on that.

All she should be doing is posting more nice little pictures of her in cute dresses. Like the one on the balcony where she has on a red dress? and her toe nails are painted white.

Megan shouldn't be too worried. Stephen A's opinion on anything fight related shouldn't be taken seriously.

Stephen A. is sending a message to joe benavidenz with that first punch

Why does she care though? Stephen A is a bum.

If I were in showbiz I would acknowledge Megan O so hard. I would acknowledge the hell out her. She would feel deep, deep acknowledgement from me.

shes literally an angel that only dates guys under 5'8

Was she hurt by him leaving out other people that were there too? Or just her? What about the foreign card guys? What about that Fitzgerald guy?

Megan Olivi elaborated on why she felt hurt by Stephen A. Smith when he left her out of his praise for the UFC's broadcast team.

“That was actually tough for me,” Megan Olivi told reporters “I don’t love social media in general, but then to play such a big role in terms of pre- and post-fight interviews, like, I’m the one onsite doing them. Then to do all the hits on the broadcast and be a part of this team and literally the only woman on the pay-per-view team – there’s no other desk host, there’s no one on the pre- or post-show. It’s literally just me. And I’ve worked to be here. I wasn’t handed this. It’s been a very long journey, as people who have seen me 10 years ago I’m sure can attest to. I’ve done everything the right way to get here, and to not get the acknowledgement as my male colleagues got, I genuinely was so hurt. It was nice to see the MMA community have my back on that.

For a little background on this, this was Stephen A. Smith's tweet from March:

What gives this woman rights to sit at the table with men let alone give her opinion. She should shut up and go fix a sandwiches.

I don't know why but I can never hate on Stephen A Smith. I don't even care how little he knows of MMA, I always end up waiting for his tweets or his take on First Take.
