I can't find any info on this. My main concern is Moicano.

Also curious about Colby's jaw, which was visibly swollen during the post-fight presser, to the point of affecting his speech. Can't find a good pic of the left hook that buckled Colby's legs but it went right through his jaw and he he took other big shots as well:

And that jaw has been split not too long ago as well.

I bet they're taking their time with Moicano, trying their best to reduce the amount of time he has to be out. Sorry beating he took there.

Moicano probably got a fractured orbital. Usually when the eye swells like that from the cheek up it's a fracture on the orbital.

Someone's mom says there's nothing soup can't heal. That and a few blow jobs.

That's a good bet. His brain is the real casualty here though, and the effects of this beating on his grey matter might not become obvious for some time.

Colby got cracked but got right back up. His chin is insane

Mas talked about missing his chance here because he didn't pounce but the reality is that there was no clear opportunity to end the fight: he hit him with a fadeaway hook (not sure it would land and thus trying to get off-line from the possible shot), so by the time he realized that Colby was wobbled, he was way out of position and Colby was already back up. Additionally, Mas was fighting on fumes at that point - unable to put hard combos together and always wary of Colby changing levels.

i agree. even if mas went for the kill, colby would have just taken him down.

Mas in the press conference said he thought Colby was going to shoot. And was waiting for it and when it never came it threw him off. But yea he was dead tired at that point.

It didn't seem like he took that hard of a beating. RDA went light. He was mostly gassed and got that orbital injury early. If RDA wasn't taking it easy in the later rounds then yeah he may received a lot of unnecessary damage.

The brain is still a mystery. For some they get damaged, and others they don't. So many combat sports athletes and not everyone responds the same. You have boxers boxing their whole lives and are perfectly fine when they retire and others aren't. I think it's more genetic predisposition to brain degeneration issues more than anything else. Those same people would most likely have brain issues regardless if they were in combat sports or not.
