A few yr ago I invented meatloaf cupcakes and today i wanted to make meatloaf and didmt have no wax paper or my loaf pans, so i came up with the idea of Meatloaf Pie.

first. start off with your meatloaf recipe like yous alwaya do and put it in a cast iron.

then take a roll of biscuit and roll them into a sheet of pie crust and lay it on top of the meatloaf. i rolled them a little too thin. so keeps them alittle thick, like half the size of a biscuit.

then throw it back in the ovens until the biscuits done.

and then slice and serve. with gravy off course.

You dont slop up your mashed potatoes with your biscuits. it taste the same.

the biscuits might be ruined if the potatoes on top but with the biscuits on top its fine

ill take your word for it lol.

ive been wanting to make a "meat" loaf with my veggie burger, bc meatloaf looks kinda poverty tbh n i like poverty ass food lol is usually tasty, but idk how u make one . . . what even is it, i mean aside from meat all stuffed in a pan lol. what makes a meatloaf good? is very strange to me

I'm gonna try this out. Love cast iron cooking.

Looks good cheese but I'm down for whatever

never had it but doent that have a jelly in it.

no jelly. meat - often hamburg or a ground pork mix, mashed potatoes and a veggie - often corn, sometimes peas or carrots, layered and cooked in the oven.

Looks like a meatloaf shepherds pie. Would eat.

I thought this thread was going to be about Meatloaf dying, and we were going to get yet another celebrity death thread.

Meatloaf can never be a comfort food for me because the hideous shit my mom cooked that masqueraded by that name.

See, I can eat meatloaf just fine now but yours is a tale that I know all too well. My mom's meatloaf was chock full of onion and peppers (which I hate to this day) and drier than Ellen Degeneres in the men's locker room. Mom is a fantastic cook, too, which made this all the more troublesome.

You basically made a cottage pie. Which are delicious. I approve. And want some.
