From the what were you thinking department.
Chinese kindergarten principal fired after kids welcomed with pole dance

Hundreds of children and parents at the Xinshahui kindergarten in Shenzhen, in the southern province of Guangdong, watched as a female pole dancer performed on a flag pole in a large courtyard.

I wish this had happened when I was a kid but the nuns simply weren't that generous.

I’m sure the principal interviewd 100 candidates for the gig, just to be thorough.

True story, I had a mandarin teacher with the surname Wang, she warned us we'd find her surname funny, we did (only because of the warning).

True story, I swear to God.

I had an eighth grade teacher named Dick Ball.

A rumour in the school was that he was very sensitive about his name and told a class "I don't want to hear jokes about my name. Nobody rubs Dick Ball the wrong way."

Guy was pretty funny so it might've been true

Man, that is beautiful. That Prinicipal deserves a Pulitzer. If we had poledancers in our schools, I guarantee there'd be no more shootings and dads would take more interest in their kids education too.

We had a teacher in my junior school when I was about 10 called Mr Gash.

Probably chose to teach younger kids because the older kids would have ripped into him....

Right now, for Shanghai it’s good, winter is the worst time, mainly due to pollution from factories. Today was 34 degrees

Nice I am in shanghai too.
The weather has been pretty good but crazy rainy and muggy it’s all good though I am not looking forward to the winter.

Also maybe I misread this story but I thought the principal was a woman who practiced pole dancing as an exercise and she thought it would. A good international experience for the children. She also pole danced along with the pros on the stage.also another poor choice for th eproncipal was they were pole dancing on a flag pole so that also may not go over well...
