uhhh.. good job. weakest knees ever. lets see some power behind ur knees. turn into your kicks more. you need to land more with the front of your shin instead of the side. but keep it up

You're dropping your left hand a lot. Keep those hands up. Your knees need work. Kicks weren't too bad. Keep it up.

I'm not on a level that I could critique your standup, but I just wanted to say that I'm diggin' the 'fro.

How can I access the vid of you with pads?

Even on your serious knees, you are not clinching the bag proberly. I think the way you are moving around the bag is nice, the breathing as you strike is nice, your kicks are decent. I like a lot of what you have. I'de like the see the vid on your punches. You definately need more control of your hands. You drop them like crazy and don't seem very aware of where or what they are doing. Good for 15 though. How long have you been training?

Thai bag will help you tons. You can clinch with your knees better, and you definately need to work leg kicks. Watch a lot of youtube for advice on bag work.

P.S. I also love the fro. You should let that dred... that's the best :)

Good luck and keep at it!!!!

You need to set it up a little better with you jab, don't just throw to throw, work it how you could in a fight. I know where you're coming from, I'm 15 and from a small town, I have no vids of me and my heavy bag, but I will soon. Keep those hands up too.

    i saw thai pad vid...
Keep you hands up #1!...remember you are most vulnerable when you're striking so after you strike the hand come directly back to your chin..left punch, right hand stays on chin etc...same with your kicks and sparring will help correct that for sure but when you kick you want to roatate your hips and be more up on your toes (helps hip rotation) and your kick you want to tuck your chin into your shoulder to keep it UNexposed.
    help any?

Keep your hands up, your knuckles should be at temple level. As I see it, your hands are in front of your face, that's just looking to get hooked to death.

Your knees need a lot of work, you should tiptoe on your supporting leg and "pop" your hips when you knee or kick.

Get someone who's into martial arts and train together, there's no substitute for sparring.

Like most everyone else has said, rotate your hips and shoulders into your kicks. (Make sure to rotate on the ball of your foot, or you could injure your knee and/or ankle). Commit more to your strikes. Imagine each blow (even jabs) as bone breaking, knockout strikes. Keep your hands up, especially during kicks. And bend your knees some more. You should have a good spring in your step at all times. You are doing well! I hope you don't take any of this as negative criticism. I also have 'fro envy, and appreciate the Thai music. Keep practicing! That will do more than anything else that you do on your own.

    Keep your hands up
Knees to the body need to go through/ forward, your knees are going straight up and losing alot of impact power
If you focus on the simple basic combos like left right or left right left hook you'll be able clean up your tech more and keep your guard.
    Happy training

either you are too dark and i cannot see u in the second vid or my computer is messed up.

but in the first vid. you just need to turn your body and hip more towards the bag maybe pivot your foot

    1. You need straighten out your cross. The movement should start with your body.

    2. If you are going to train knees, train to cause damage. Your kneeing a bag, not a training partner, destroy the bag.

I unno if its me, but the pad work looks shabby. The padholder is definitely bad, but maybe the pads are too high? The roundhouses on the pads look very awkward. Hopefully you can instruct your padholder on how to well...how to hold pads. A bad padholder will make the striker look very bad, so take that into consideration.
