For never ever ever ever having practiced that before, your set up and grip work was exceptional. I'm assuming you're comfortable with that grip set up, because it looked so fluid. What throw do you usually attempt off of that grip then?

Also, just confirming: you're a brown in judo or bjj?

theyre arent many throws i go for from that grip
it mostly came naturally

BTW im
Brown in Judo

white in BJJ haha

IMO you will get caught trying that move more then you will successfully perform it.

Nice execution of it that time, but be careful in comp.

Nice execution and good thing you avoided landing on your own neck.

I'm pretty sure that that move is illegal in National comps too. All subs have to come from a throw first, and that guy didn't look like he was heading to his back. Straight to the sub.

Same with the Kani Basami.

nice

Where the hell is fresno?

To do a legal Sub from stand up u have to controll ur opponent during all the Takedown.
When we studied a kind of Flying armbar, we learn it first taking down Uke with our weight and when we touch the mat with our back extend the body to to the armbar.

Our way to counter was like this http://www.judoclub.ca/mpegs/flying.mpg
or this http://www.judoclub.ca/mpegs/chris.mpg

But the Flying armbar that I like most is this

It's amazing
