Did you only start watching WMMA once the women came to the UFC? Because there's two things you should know: the best fighters aren't all in the UFC and so the UFC rankings are crap. Check out Robert Sargents rankings on Mmarising.com to get the accurate ones. Sara has only one blemish on her record and it was a controversial stoppage against the greatest WMMA fighter of all time.

As you can see Sara has three wins over Top-10 opponents:

Tonya Evinger (15-6) - Sara was only 2-0 at the time and this was a huge step up in competition for her. Tonya has since spun off 6 straight wins and is basically the Invicta champion and Ben Askren of WMMA. Tonya is currently ranked 10th.

Shayna Baszler (15-9) - Leading up to her face off against McMann, Baszler was on a four fight win streak including a win over Alexis Davis. The win helped propel Sara into the UFC. Shayna was ranked 7th at the time.

Lauren Murphy (8-1) - The Invicta champion is currently ranked 8th.

At one point in her career Sheila Gaff was also the #2 ranked Flyweight in the world. That was right before she dropped out of a fight against Rosie Sexton when it was announced they were doing VADA testing. Gaff was on a four fight win streak heading into the McMann bout including a pair of first-round KO's.
