Literally just finished a former champ in one round, wtf. Even if he loses to Pitbull, he's still got a super bright future ahead of him, and he's only 25.

I wouldn’t call him a prospect anymore. He already had defeated the former Bellator FW champ(who still was winning fights) before the tournament. Knocked out the always tough Karakanyan in 8 seconds. He was one of the best prospects about a year ago. His next fight is likely against Pitbull and definetly for the title and a milli. He’s not a prospect

I think he's well past prospect status TBH. He's a full on contender.

Absolute killer! I think it was a shoulder lock/neck crank, Caldwell had his arm in a sling under his T-Shirt post-fight.

Ref didn’t even see the tap, so I think McKee probably ripped something. Must see the Pitbull fight, Sanchez is great but I think Pitbull will get it done and we will get what we’ve been waiting for this whole tournament.

Pitbull vs AJ Mckee is a legitimate superfight. Can't wait.

AJ and Zabit are the 2 most skilled FWs in the world. They both have such insane technique/abilities.

I think that's the most likely scenario, but I wouldn't count Sanchez out. A lot of people act like pitbull's a lock, but their first fight was damn close, it was 3 to 2, and a few key moments won pitbull rounds late that he was having trouble in.

Definitely a stud. Too bad he says he'll never fight Aaron Pico. That would be an interesting future matchup.

Interestingly enough I think AJ and Pico have the best shot at beating Pitbull in Bellator. AJ is way more ready than Pico but Pico has the skillset to be a threat to Pitbull in a year or two.

Is AJ the best prospect coming from the Coker-era Bellator?

The UFC can’t compete with a prospect like McKee at 145. The next best thing they have is Bryce Mitchell at 26 years old and 14-0. But he’s no McKee

Makachev maybe. If AJ beats Pitbull its gonna be crazyness seing this kid entire career in Bellator to become champion against the Bellator GOAT.

It’s funny because I was just thinking that if McKee goes 18-0, wins this whole thing, and cashes thats $1m, this might be the first time a Coker homegrown has panned out 100%. This would be a new milestone. He never got the chance to finish with Woodley or Cormier or the other SF guys but even so those guys had 1 or 2 pro fights and had wrestling pedigrees before mma. Coker literally found McKee as a 19 year old ammy. He would’ve taken this kid from ammy to championship level fighter from scratch. Dana has never done that.
