I noticed when the bell rings he steps forward to touch gloves and insta-attacks. Do you guys consider this dirty or fair? Because I remember when that guy from TUF did it, he was bashed for it, when Hominck did it to Korean Zombie he was called out for it too. People are giving this guy a pass it seems.

he isnt touching gloves, he is holding his hand out to gauge the distance between him and his opponent

His kicks do little damage so it didn't bother me at all.

It's a tad greasy but it's the fighter's responsible to protect himself at all times.

The only time I remember this happening was for the Brandao fight and people did make a big deal out of it, until it was revealed that Conor offered to touch gloves at the start and Brandao shook his head "no".

    No prob.

I remember a few other (non-affiliated) fighters on twitter saying it was nothing at the time, but I can't think of who

He never goes for a glove touch. It's just his outstretched stance.

As soon as the bell rings anything within the rules is fair play

    Fairplay

when the bell rings it's time to fight, no touching gloves/hugging/blowing kisses or whatever, do all that before the fight.

Fair enough. I guess if the fighters themselves have no issue with it.

I do think it was just distance-gauging. Conor always comes right out at his opponents.

And I am a pro fighter bro.

Well I mean I own the UFC video game.

well okay not any of the recent editions but like that first one from like 5 years ago

His kicks do little damage? I think just maybe you should go watch the Mendes fight again. His kicks were the most damaging things of the entire fight. Front kicks, spinning back kicks tearing mendes' body up. His kicks were fucking lethal...
