Doesn't it seem obvious if McGregor is trying to move up to 170? and GSP has said that he wants to return for big fights? Easily the biggest fight in UFC history.

Will create huge gate and ppv sells

Will result in boring 5 round gsp lay n pray decision
 
I doubt very much GSP will come back under USADA. He would be a shadow of his former self and the testing would affect his takedowns, his speed, his gastank, his chin. He would get KTFO by McGregor.

Fight would make a tonne of money in Canada for sure.
 
Even aruined GSP murks Conor, hard to imagine a worse match-up.

conor would get gsp'd so fast...for 25 min. conor's clearly fighting nick after he kills nate.
 
GSP is retired, and is not coming back.

If he did the fight wouldn't be very compelling because the outcome would be too obvious.

Never happening, no need for it.

This thread has been done about 10 times in the last month, I think it was done twice yesterday.

GSP kills McGregor, not even competitive, 50-45 with McGregor's only having a punchers chance.

This will be the only chance we will ever get to see GSP fight again.
An easy fight against a small guy, and the biggest paycheck of his life.
For the fans it will be frustrating and boring like all GSP fights. 50-45
 
GSP would do whatever he wanted to McG. The threat of GSP's vastly superior takedowns and ground skill would make him able to implement any gameplan he wished. I'd easily bet a testicle that GSP would dismantle Conor badly. I truly believe it would be his first finish in a long time by either sub or ground n pound tko.

Damm. This is the most ridiculous oost i've read by a Conor nuthugger. Accusing GSP from doping in order to imply he will lose to McGregor. Weird.

GSP would take down the little guy at will, school him on the ground, gas him out, then jab, kick and punch again. In the later rounds is up to the GSP to decide how he wants to end this fight: in a dominant decision win, in a submission class or in a striking masacre.
 
Even a washed up GSP can stand with Conor, annihilates him in wrestling and on the ground. Conor's only weapon and a very effective one at that is the power in his left hand as we all know, but I doubt its as powerful as Hendricks right which didn't KO GSP.
 
How would PED use affect someone's chin ? Regardless, GSP would put on a Wrestling and a BJJ clinic on Conor; And this is coming from a Conor fan. GSP walks around close to 200 Pounds. Conor is 170. Those extra 20 - 30 pounds makes a huge difference once the fight goes to the ground. And GSP would get this fight to the ground easily. Now a straight up Kickboxing match would be fun; but this is MMA and GSP always fights his fight.

It makes a huge difference if its only 10 pounds, its why we have 135, 145, 155, but the jump from LW to WW is 15 pounds of muscle, 155 to 170. The only jump larger is MW to LHW, 185 to 205, which is funny when people think Rockhold is going to hang with Jon Jones.
