As soon as Aldo sees McGregor across from him in the cage he gets into the fetal position and rocks back and forward until the ambulance arrive.

Couldnt handle Conor coming to say he was going to enslave his favela? At least Aldo came back and is kicking ass. Stephens would probably clean KO proper 12 Conor.

My gut says Aldo, but we have no idea how Aldo will look at 155 or how Conor will look when he comes back.
If Aldo can maintain speed and power, while benefiting from increased endurance, he fucks Conor up. He would be a tiny lightweight though. The dude only cuts from 165 to begin with.

Conor WAS great at getting into the head of someone.

Just look at most press conference since both Diaz fights. He's a mess, he doesn't even believe what he's saying anymore. It's not like Aldo hasn't rebounded since.

Conor' style and body type is a tough match up for Aldo, however if Aldo can find a way to avoid the left and continuously kick Conor's lead leg, things could get interesting..

Dana white and ufc knew luck do not smile twice ;) thats why a champion like Jose didin't get a rematch with conor.
I would like to see Jose Aldo get his revenge and cash some big bucks.
Mystic Mac also last win was 3 years ago against baked exciting gatekeeeper lil Diaz.

It would be kinda stupid to have Aldo as the favorite after their last fight

Conor is super dangerous for 1.5 rounds. After that, he has no footwork or finishing power. Aldo can outpoint him. That's what makes the rematch interesting.

This thread is hilarious. The people here are extra hilarious.

You people must have forgotten how Conor is before he gasses out. He’s unstoppable if it’s a striking fight and he doesn’t has out. He’s only flat footed when he gasses out.

I like Aldo a lot, and Conor is one of my least favourite fighters ever.

But I'd have to pick Conor. The size difference is significant, as is the reach, and the styles go heavily in McGregor's favour. His patient, sniping boxing style would probably take advantage of Aldo's more gung ho MT style once again. Aldo leaves himself open a lot, and if there's one thing Conor does well, it's throw a counter left cross.

Also for such a seasoned vet, Aldo sure is easily riled etc. If he could be extremely patient, focus on lateral movement, leg kicks, body kicks, and basically not box at all unless there's a clear counter opportunity - he'd have some chance, especially given the mess Pillowfists McGregory appears to be these days.

I'd be interested in watching it for sure, but Conor should be a clear favourite. It's not like Aldo even has the stamina to really take advantage of gassed McGregory.

Max on the other hand, Max 2.0 would beat the absolute shit out of Conor now.

Aldo. Conor has been ducking the rematch ever since for a reason.

McGregor is broken after khabib. Only thing he can smash these days is a cellphone.

I'd love to see Aldo win that, but, there is no way possible Conor takes that fight, absolutely no upside if he wins, if he loses, I can't see him recovering from that loss, especially with his out of the cage crimes.

He also got smacked up and submissively gave up his neck like a beaten dog to a LW gatekeeper.

As far a chins getting pulverized, Conor’s was demolished by Floyd while Aldo ate Stephens best shots and walked through them. Meanwhile, Conor was off getting dropped by Khabib.

You simply don’t know what you’re talking about.
