Honestly i have never seen a more spoiled fighter in mma.

Its sickening really they will do anything to try and erase that loss.

I don't see how even the most hardcore mcgregor fanboy can be cool with this.

He does not deserve another shot at Diaz. But shiit while there at it might aswell just have Rda forfeit his belt and give it to McGregor and then do the same with Lawler.

I dont expect his legion of 12 yr old fans to get it but the REAL fans know this is just plain embarrassment to the sport.

I'll gladly watch Diaz tool him again, but yeah he is.

McNuggets are cool with it because they are WWE fans, not MMA fans

Diaz made millions of dollars because Conor decided to fight when he didn't have to. But now Conor needs to earn something to get a rematch?

He's the top earner. If he wins this, they can pretend the first one was a fluke (it wasn't) and get right back to the circus. I doubt it works out, but there is nothing remotely shocking about this. Money fights get made all the time in all combat sports.

I've been reading McGregor fans being very against this match too. Only the idiot nuthuggers and pedantic contrarians are in favour of this match and I don't think these groups of people really enjoy MMA too much.

Yea, but he's a draw so it's understandable. Edgar was pretty spoiledto until recently.

Nate is on record saying the reports of him making millions are false.

To be clear, his only pay we know of was reported as 600k. The 'source' for him making millions is Dana White, who is a bold faced liar. I don't even mean that as a pejorative - Dana has one job, and that is to promote the UFC brand.

Regarding 'earn something' I think you are bumping up against people who want to recognize some semblance of sport in the UFC. The cold hard truth is that is not the case - the only rule is make money.

I would much prefer the UFC be run more like a sport and less like a freakshow, but that is simply not the case with Zuffa. They've made it clear the goal is short term windfall at any cost.

Conor haters should be happy. Your favourite fighter gets rich again and Conor gets another "L".

So why so many tears?

What exactly is your problem? Do you think it was a bad fight? Was it a one-sided fight?

Is Diaz a bad fighter? Is McGregor a bad fighter?

I don't understand why people are so salty about this, the McGregor/Diaz fight was great. It would have been even better with a big buildup and now we might get it, but people want to complain about it? Ask Diaz who he'd rather fight, Dos Anjos or McGregor. What's the honest answer to that?

I'm really failing to see the conspiracy here. McGregor already lost against Diaz, a couple of weeks ago. Surely that disproves this as a "gimme" fight which is what people always complain about with McGregor. He'll be the underdog in this fight, for the first time since his UFC debut.

Explain to me, in one sentence, what is wrong with McGregor/Diaz 2.

Nah. I like the rematch. Lets turn that L into a W. Conor had the wrong gameplan. Thats all it was.

You guys sound worried that maybe Conor will prove that it was a fluke.

"The fight that hasn't happened that a lot of fans want to see is Conor McGregor vs. Frankie Edgar for the 145 pound title."
— Dana White

McGregor is the featherweight champion and should be defending his title instead of fucking around on welterweight.

When you're the only non-olympic medalist / wwe star to bring in consecutive 1000, 000 plus buy rates.

All off your own self-promotion/marketing,

Then you deserve to be taken care of by your company.

Mcgregor generated huge bank and interest for the ufc/mma.

He did all the extra media, all the extra appearances, he built the hype and the shows..

And when he was called to show up, he did it, unconditionally, anyone, any time.

Diaz stepped up with nothing to lose and everything to gain, and he did gain, big time. Even if he had of lost he would have been rich. And good for Diaz, he deserved it too.

I have a feeling it's conor that doesn't want to fight at 145 anymore. After seeing how much he put on, its gonna be hell to cut back down to 145

It's okay Diaz will beat him up again and Uncle Dana with have another shitty night

All the sport bullshit is ridiculous in this case. It's just something to say to object to a fight. We were supposed to get a superfight, it didn't happen, Nate beat Conor and now Conor wants a rematch. How does this fly in the face of sport?

And no, I don't believe Nate. Meltzer said he made millions as well.
