I do believe this is the first time we have a UFC scheduled on a Sunday in the USA. Is there a reason as to why the UFC decided to do this? I dont like it...what say you about Sunday cards?

They have had TV cards on Sundays before. I am fine with it.

Makes sunday a little more interesting, Gives me friday and saturday to get any partying out of the way and a nice fight to look forward to on a day i usually spend doing nothing but getting ready for and dreading work.

More than anything it's Fox counter-programming against the Colts/Patriots NFL playoff game on CBS. Fox has the Green Bay/Seattle game earlier the same day and little to follow up with that would pull ratings that evening other than a live fight. Probably not what the UFC wanted to do but Fox dictates when they'll let things air.

Another european poster here, its a real pain in the arse for us. Will have to avoid the internet almost entirely all day monday till I can get home and watch it. I start work at 4am monday, the fight will probably be in full swing as I start work.

Big boxing match on Saturday night too. Haven't watched boxing much in the last 5 years, may watch this one. Not sure if that was a factor for the Sunday event. Too much TV coming on Sunday. MMA and 2 NFL games. Too much couch.

Prelims start at 10.30am on Monday morning when most of us are at work so can only see it delayed when we get home - Fox Sports 6 for those interested

Agree, a royal pain in the ass. I've have to DVR it and watch the event on Monday after being forced to work from home....

    It always is...

I'll be getting up at 6am to watch it before work - no doubt it'll be spoiled on me the moment I get in otherwise.
