Say what you will but Conor is likeable. There is a reason people gravitate towards him and it's because he has charisma, he's funny and he is actually a nice guy.
Ronda on the other hand is volatile, angry, irrational, unreasonable, at times delusional and just unlikable in general. And no it has nothing to do with her being a strong woman or some other nonsense. Miesha would whoop my ass and so would Holly and they are confident, champions and likeable and most fans love them.
And let's not forget Ronda acting like a clown at the weigh ins, trying to manufacture some ugly nonsense and then ranting about fake this and her camp that. Then the cheating in the cage with incredibly late punches after the bell.
Then Ronda hid after her fight, came back and talked about suicide as though everyone should just cry for her. I get it, suicide struggles are a real thing and they're relative to each person but I really don't like seeing mental illness trivialised.. If you actually have a problem go and see a doctor. What's with this talk show therapy absurdity.
Not to mention claiming that she is still undefeated and that she hasn't loss and whatever other disrespectful stuff she said. Maybe it's how she copes with it though..
Look at how Holly and Conor took their humiliating stoppage losses. Like absolute champions.
That being said, Ronda is actually very nice to her fans and a joy to watch. It's just when she fights she has to manufacture conflict because that's how she functions at her best, always exhibiting strong anger and having to prove herself because she's insecure and that motivates her. She even said this herself. Unfortunately when you take this approach, people will not like you as much as a Holly.
