McGregor over Alvarez, GSP over Bisping, or DC over Miocic? Which 2nd belt win was the best and why?

  • DC by some distance.
He is one of the GOAT at LHW only losing to the possible best ever fighter who also may have been on riods. DC also is 8-0 in UFC/Strikeforce HW fights beating former champs along the way and then beats the statistical best HW champ who has looked flawless. At LHW he's cleared out his division and defends his belt regularly.
  • McDuck second.
McGregor only just won the FW belt before intentionally not defending it, then challenges a guy who just won the LW, wins it and vanishes as the contenders gather. Only second because he destroyed Alvarez who was a long time Bellator champ.
  • GSP the least impressive, he is the GOAT WW however
GSP has never fought before at MW and only did so when he was sure he could beat the MW champ who was half blind. Vacates the belt a week later to avoid getting smashed by Whittaker or Romero.

Edit. Mix up. I always forget Penn was a WW champ before LW

Probably because I considered him the best LW all along

dc cheated and hw and lhw fucking suck

155 is the most stacked division in the sport

gsp is a great win too, bisping was 30-7, while he his not the best champ gsp was comming off two knee sugeries and 4 years layoff

DC was always a HW. Don't be fooled. Great win, but HW beating a HW.

Connor and GSP both moved up in weight to fight.
 
Mcgregor beating Alvarez was almost magical. Watching it live it had the aura that we were watching a superstar being born.
 
Hard to say really

Each guy finished their fight emphatically

DC on strength on competition
Conor on performance

GSP is great but it's Bisping so...

good question. gsp over bisping is my last place choice. bisping (although talented), never had the allure or legitimacy as stipe or even Alvarez (imo). the way conor kicked th holy shit out of Alvarez was crazy impressive. but my vote goes to DC beating Stipe. Stipe has been on a legendary run. DC get my vote
 
DC over Stipe for sure. Stipe was the most dominant HW champ in UFC history. He also is undefeated at HW with over a dozen wins in the division. Most legit Champ champ we've had.
 
That’s a tough one.

Conor embarassed Eddie, but somehow DC’s win seemed so much more satisfying.

They’re both incredible performances.

You’re right. I said “wait a minute” after I posted it and corrected it hopefully before anybody noticed but didn’t. I get a lot of history mixed up these days. I had a big mix up with a old numbered events a couple weeks ago.
 
Dc definitely. Mcgregor and gsp weren't necessarily fighting the best the divisions has to offer. Just two guys who got lucky punch
 
DC easily plus if comparing his double champ reign with Mcgregor remember DC had fought and defending his title multiple time before then gong up and beating the champ. Hes a true Double champ. Also Alvarez was on his first defence.

It would be gsp if he took the belt from anyone other than bisping.

DC’s was impressive because of the quality of opponent, but DC is a heavyweight (he even said so a few times in the post fight presser).

Hate to say it but it’s Conor. He made Alvarez look like an amateur.
