McGregor's experiment with going to 155 and challenge Dos Anjos really blew up in his face. If by chance Dos Anjos didn't pull out of UFC 196 and McGregor beat him for the Lightweight title then he would have had to face ELITE guys...He would have no chance against Ferguson, Barbosa or Khabib. Nate beat him and I would expect nothing will change at UFC 202. Go back to 145 as it's probably best for his health.

theres nothing for him at 145 that division has been killed off already, zombie aldo trying for a rematch is not appealing
naythan will get his come august 20 and after that we will see what conor decides to do to the LW division

Agreed that there is nothing at 145, but he won't survive against those guys at 155. For his health either stay at 145 and fight tomato cans, or quit.

His choice is to either be a top FW or a middling LW.

Has he even fought at 145 without an IV? Not to mention he's fighting twice at 170 packing on the pounds. I'm not sure 145 is safe for him if it ever was

You're right, he needs to pack on the meat and just go to 155 so he can be the official gatekeeper into the Top 10.

Here's what I [supermarket worker] would advise McGregor [world champion MMA fighter] to do regarding MMA. I predict that hypothetical events would have had a certain outcome based on my experience of working at the local try-n-save, and also my skills in clairvoyance.

Oh TS, if only UFC fighters had access to your wisdom.

Ferguson has beat 0 top guys ,barbosa is chinny as fuk but yes khabib is a grappling animal.

I think if he was prepared to get in close he could turn barbosas lights out but otherwise he would get beaten on the outside the dude is becoming super nasty

Good points....I think in the case of Barbosa his kicks are NASTY. His kicks hit, McGregor's kicks never seem to make contact. It'll be interesting what happens with McGregor after 202. In your opinion who's next for Ferguson?
