when i read that article i thought of when Diego Sanchez was 12-0 or some such thing and said "of course i can go undefeated - Rickson Gracie went 400-0 and i think i can too"

he's clearly good. he hasn't been tested yet. he will be soon, i'm sure.

I think Edgar is his biggest challenge in this weight class, aside from that I think he'd win against everyone else. Seems as if he'll get the shot if he can get through Siver. Against Aldo, I think a lot of people will be shocked to see Aldo's head bouncing off of the canvas in the late second or third round and shortly after...

    AND NEW!

If he would follow his own advice I might fully commit into liking this guy.

McGregor reminds me of Dan Hardy just with a pinch more hype. Both from the same Island. Both potent strikers. Both hyped without much substance other than obviously being entertaining fighters in the cage, and memorable out of it as well. And both got/will get whooped by their divisions respective dominant Champion. Then slip back down the totem pole fast. Only difference is Dan is awesome and Conor's a schmo. And for reasons I don't understand McGregor has more fans. This is like Hardy on repeat just with a bigger budget.

Yes clearly there are no parallels to the stories. As all of the things listed are false? Hype job with a big personality from the Same area who will/ got crushed by champions they really hadn't earned the right to fight. Conor's just caught on more.

They are from 2 different islands, Ireland and England have water between them.

dan did not fight near as many top 10 fighters before his title shot, at least conor has(shot still not given).

They aren't from the same island. First fail.

Second fail, McGregor is a better striker than Hardy compared to finish rates and matching up in their respective divisions.

Third fail, he hasn't even had his fight yet and you act like its a given he can't get by Aldo.

Conor is unique in my opinion. Style and talk. If he can perfect the sprawl, his stand up is very impressive

I do not think he would have an easy go with Mendes.

England and Ireland aren't the same island. Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland are on a separate island, and the Republic of Ireland is independent from the UK.

I would agree with that, still think he would win against him.
