Connor lost on purpose, this was solely a business move - he knew he didn't have a real future at these higher weight classes so he looked for ONE big pay day. Now he can pocket the money, move back to 145 and clean house for years to come. Greatest business man of all time. People should learn from him, he's a genius.

1/10 joke thread and your very first post. This is why juniors shouldn't be allowed to make threads.

That's some Bob Sapp logic

fail ts. you failed bad.

He took that play straight from Mayweather Jr.

Nothing builds value like a loss.

Anderson broke his leg on purpose vs Weidman to set up a trilogy. Sly bastard.

Yeah. This reminds me a lot of when Ronda got KO'd by Holm just so that the rematch would do big numbers.

that happens all the time.

Rory outdoes all of them. Let Robbie shatter his nose on purpose just to try to get more blood in the cage than anyone before him and potentially be the first in cage death.

I assume you're trolling but this is Sherdog so you never know...

So what if one of Conors many bombs he threw just flatlined Nate? What wouldve happened to his genius business plan then?

It was plain to see that Conor was pulling his punches, he's a shrewd bastard.

I believe it since ya know he's a master of human movement. He read Nate's body language and purposely put himself in position to be hit cleanly by his 1-2. He'd already thought of shooting for the takedown so he pulled it off easy.

Damn, that smart bastard!

But don't worry, the UFC is corrupt and have bought everyone out so that Conor wins the rematch.
