Mayweather has a reach of 72"

His last 11 opponents:
Guerrero - 70"
Cotto - 67"
Ortiz - 70"
Mosley - 71"
Marquez - 67"
Hatton - 65"
ODLH - 73"
Baldomir - 68"
Judah - 72"
Mitchell - 72"

Gatti - 70"

It looks like after Mayweather became a superstar he started playing it safe

Took at look at the champs at 154, Mayweather has a reach advantage on them too
Canelo - 71"
Smith - 71"
Zubarek - 70.5"

Is there anyone at 154 or below with a reach advantage on Mayweather? (Hard mode 147 or below)

Anyway, Mayweather won't fight Martinez because he has a reach of 75"

Lol you are looking waaaaaay to much into reach bro. Especially considering its somewhat of a dead stat with them measuring arm length now. Floyd's got some long ass arms, as long as the Klitschko's I believe. Floyd not fighting Martinez has nothing to do with his reach and everything to do with the fact he is much bigger and very dangerous.

Lmao...this is some good $hit...

PBF plays it safe by fighting the very best in the world.

In before someone calls :
SSM a can
Cotto, washed up and damaged goods.
Ricky Hatton the smaller man, never any good

The last two are true....

It's good when people add more fuel to the fire about their actual understanding of the sport.

My favorite is when people say, "...if you apply the jab consistently against PBF you will win..."

Like it's that fu*king simple.

"he'll do what castillo did."

-Generic fan comment heard before every Floyd fight since he fought Castillo.

Yup...."cut off the ring and start throwing punches...rough him up..."

Dumb shit generic fans...

They are even worse than the PBF cauk suck club.

He didn't say anything about "whacking the guy."

Speaking of Lederman, I just rewatched the Lara v. Martirosyan stinker. That was the worst card and round descriptions that I've ever seen him give. Just terrible.

Lederman is one of those guys who scores a round for whoever landed the "hardest" punch. I've heard him contradict himself regarding the other scoring criteria and even heard him say it doesn't matter.I think he's a terrible judge and I think he regularly misleads the fans.

Sometimes they don't even need to be landing the hardest punch. Vanes landed shit all in that Lara fight. Just absolutely nothing. He was sort of the fighter coming forward. Lara wasn't setting the world on fire but he was at least landing punches. It was the type of fight that so few punches were thrown that it was kind of obvious and easy to score rounds (like a shitty version of Rigo v. Donaire) and somehow Lederman gave Vanes the first 3 rounds. On compubox (which I hate) Vanes didn't land more that 7 punches in a round and was outlanded every round. At the end of the fight Martirosyan had landed 33 punches as opposed to Lara who had landed 74 and somehow fucking Lederman had it a draw (as I remember). Fuck that fight pissed me off. The actual judges also shit the bed. It was pretty much a clear shut out with maybe one or two rounds going to Vanes if you wanted to be very generous to him.

end rant

Did anyone end up checking the compubox numbers for that fight? lol Vanes landed like 33 punches in in total in 7 rounds.

I think Lederman had him up by like 3 rounds to start the fight.
