Floyd, the counter puncher, threw more punches than Pac did.

Lots of jabs. Pacquiao is not a jabber, he is a power puncher. He was not able to land his power shots with any regularity, so his punch-count dropped.

I was not as shocked by what transpired as some people. Nobody throws 1,000 punches against Floyd, it's really hard to throw when the guy is not there to be hit. That is what makes Floyd so effective.
