barboza is a better fighter at 155 than max yet he didn’t have much success.

Style wise this fight is horrible and max has no chance, I think ufc through some extra cash max way and will sacrifice him and max doesn’t even realized he’s being used by them.

Stupid match up really makes no sense.
 
UFC kinda screwed themseleves by having the other top LWs headlining events the couple weeks after this fight...so if they take them from that fight they mess up the fox headliner or a fight night headliner...they should’ve had 1 of them on this card so they could be a replacement... other than Conor there was no one else to fill in besides Eddie but I haven’t seen what he’s been up to lately... surprised max was even an option with his ankle being injured and he wasn’t able to fight a month ago gotta make you wonder how good his ankle will be

Damn, a lot of people are being dramatic today over this announcement.
And regardless, all the years I’ve watched MMA, I know and you should know that ANYONE has a chance regardless of who’s fighting.
It takes one hit to change the outcome of a fight.
 
I say good for Max for stepping up in a time of need. He has bigger balls than connie

We don’t know what’s going to happen. Yes, a fighter can be a heavy favorite and has more ways to win but anything can happen. That’s why I love this sport.
Never know what’s going to happen.

How do we know if Khabib is even gonna make weight lol we’ll see... trust me I was pretty disappointed that he didn’t fill in but with it being only 6 days out you gotta remember ufc is a business and in the game to make the most amount of money

Yes all it takes is one punch or kick to change the fight... only thing I do hate is that it seems more and more that we as fans don’t get to see the fights we want cuz of injuries weight and other problems that comes up which sucks

That is the annoying thing dude. There’s great fights that need to happen but until weight cutting and training changes a bit, there will always be incidents like these.
 
Where tf is Darrel Horcher for that rematch everybody wants

Yep it’s just part of the game as a fan you have to deal with...
 
The only thing Max has to lose is his health/prime years. I'm sure the UFC threw him some nice money to do this but he might take a beating so bad it shortens his prime. I think Khabib will probably just sub him fast in the 1st though
 
To be fair who at 155 would have a much better chance to win than Max?
