Poirier is not even a big 155'er and he looked noticeably bigger, stronger and more powerful than Max out there.

I know Max gets labelled as a massive 145'er (which is def true) but he hasn't missed weight, and he may just be a tweener of some sort (like Conor) who would thrive best at 150.

His physical strength vs Khabib would not hold up even one bit. Hell Poirier probably won't.

Max is taller than Dustin. Dustin was a bit more muscular. They looked about right for LW.

Max is tall but it's pretty obvious with his current frame and reach he's a better fit at FW. He could do lw, but just like poirier and Conor hed need to take the time to bulk up proper first.

Poirier gradually fitted his frame to be bigger at 155 throughout the years, Max Holloway Is not even a big guy.

Max probably needs time to put more muscle on his frame if it's a permanent move to 155.

I've heard here that Max is bigger than Dustin before the fight.

Max has that skinny/fat build. Looks bigger than he really is because he's tall.

    Max looked completely fine.
Don’t look for excuses. He’s huge for 45...
    He won’t stay there forever.

Max went up in weight in a short amount of time. Dustin been fighting at 155 for awhile, so he has bulked well. If Holloway been fighting at 155 as long as Dustin, he would look more "full and strong" and not so bloated.Max has great heart, just no head movement lol.

Dustin finished Alvarez, gathje and Pettis in his last 3 and Max just pushed him to the limit in his 155 debut. Give him time to bulk up and he will be a top 155ers for years to come

    A bit more?

Dustins arms looked bigger than Max's legs, the size difference was very noticeable.

That's true but he couldn't make 155 to fight Khabib late notice, I can't really work out what that means but it confirms he's walking about well over 155 between fights.
He did look noticeably smaller than Poirier but like they were saying, he hasn't put weight and moved up he just cut less to make 155 for one fight. If he can still make 145 he should probably go back and put on 10 lb of muscle if he's going to try 155 again.

    You Ese!
That would only be natural. Dustin Poirier said there's no way he could make 145 now, but we know Max is going back down to defend his belt. Poirier has also spent much more time at LW and built his frame up to fit that mold, while Max has just come up for this 1 fight for the time being.

Max just doesnt have much muscle mass of someone like Dustin, Conor or even Khabib. Even when he blows up in between fights, he looks skinny fat lol

It's because max was not that lean at 155. He looked like he cut weight, but not fat. Dude looked skinny fat in there. Definitely why he wasnt as fast in there

Poirier looked huge in there, he was probably around 175 in the cage

It's no secret that his weight cuts to 155 for his last two fights have been very taxing on his body

Max's loss was not a size issue, but rather a defense issue.
