Seriously, this is by far worse than Tony's injury did or Jones's full card cancellation. He pretty much stole the most intriguing matchup for Khabib available because he'd hoped to get cleared and that he'd be allowed to get in there. It's probably the most selfish thing a fighter could do if he knew the extent of his injury and that there was a likelihood of not being allowed to fight, but not only that, he took the opportunity away from Ortega who was going to step up and put an amazing fight, not like Holloway who was going to get steamrolled and dropped on his head until he got tko'd.

I previously said right after it was made that Ortega was the better and more sensible matchup.

But thanks to Holloway's selfishness we get a shit show now.

Holloway is a fucking warrior that took a fight on 6 days notice to save a card, fuck off.
He is not at fault that doctors didn't clear him to fight. He wanted to fight.

And yeah, Ortega would've been better, but blame the UFC for that, and not Holloway.

Can't blame him for the first injury, but he definitely fucked up this one. Was irresponsible to take this fight and it's wreaking havoc.

It's possible that Max knew the doctors wouldn't clear him and took the fight for show.

Max' doctor in Hawaii cleared him, so he obviously thought the doctor/commission in New York would clear him aswell.

Blame the goddamn UFC, I've been telling all of you guys since this fight was announced that Holloway is injured and this booking is ludicrous, nobody wanted to hear it.

TS is absolutely right, claiming the fight so no one can , then pulling out a day before. Idgaf if it wasn't his choice, give it to someone whod actually be cleared and didn't fuck up the card a few weeks prior

Lol that's probably a guy that hangs out with him at the weekly backyard BBQ. Seriously how do retards like you think he is a "fucking warrior" for fucking up a main event that he knew was a possibility of happening?

I mean I assume you're the type of drooler who takes spoon-fed news by Dana and co but still. Max took this fight for selfish reasons, i.e. manily publicity when a better contender was available and then a shit show happened. He should catch flack for this not be defended for being a "warrior".

You should hunt him down and kick his ass bro

Max is an idiot for taking the fight when we all knew his ass was injured....Ortega would have been the better match up...

Do we know for sure if it was the injury or weight cut that stopped him from fighting?
