Matt Riddle bashes UFC and Dana White for Jon Jones drug test

If it was teh best thing getting fired, why he so mad??

 

As a huge pothead I usually have much love for any fighter who smoked but for some reason I can't stand Riddle. I had been waiting for him to be cut for so long he was so boring, the white Leonard Garcia but even more boring.

 

Really if the UFC does nothing to discipline jones, then they are just making a mockery of the sport they claim they are trying to clean up....

 

Well he doesn't speak in riddles that's for sure.

I don't care for Riddle much, but I do believe he is correct in this situation. It's pretty messed up.

Unless there is nothing in the contract about using coke, which I believe there is - I could be wrong though.


EDIT: After reading a lot of the posts on page 2 (from a 10 post per page view), I understand the difference between in and out of competition usage, which I did not prior to my original post. I now retract my original post.

riddle failed 2 fuckin post fight tests in 3 fights. after his first failure and NC he was given another fight by the ufc 5 months later. then he failed another test his next fight. he should really stfu.

 

Obviously not the same thing. He failed multiple POST FIGHT drug tests.
Jones was tested for a substance that is not on the banned list OUTSIDE OF FIGHT NIGHT. Not to mention Jones is one of the greatest fighters of all time and Matt Riddle, is not exactly a money magnet.

He failed a POST FIGHT drug test and they gave him two more chances and he failed again.

Why do these people whinge. At a real job if you fail drug tests on a construction site or even show 1 drop of alcohol in your blood you are dismissed immediately and it goes on your record.

 

Riddle is such a joke, from day one

Im sure after he retires with $0.00 in his bank account he will have second thoughts about what hes saying

listen, it's unfortunate THC metabolites take a long time to get out of the system but Jones didn't make those rules.

You can rip that bong all you want during training as long as you pass the drug test on fight night. If you somehow fail to understand that concept you are just as stupid as Matt Riddle who is a really terrible advocate for marijuana, just as Nick Diaz is btw.

Riddle failed multiple mandatory drug tests. He was cut for being one of the dumbest human beings on the UFC roster.

 

Good riddance.

 

One thing I really can't stand about potheads is how they think weed is the most important topic in the entire fucking world. They all seem to have this massively irrational persecution complex about there being any repercussions for their habit. FTR, I think weed should be legal but rules about drugs in sports are a different subject. This is really simple -Jones took a drug out-of-competition that is not banned for out-of-competition use. Riddle took a drug in-competition that is banned for in-competition use. Anyone who thinks there's a valid issue here is just as dumb.
