Matt Hamill ‏@Hammerufc 2h
It's confirmed..I will fight July 5th for WSOF.
I hope he gets a favorable matchup. It would be nice to see his career end on a positive note.
Can't think of anybody else.
WSOF - an equal opportunity fight promotion.
First org to feature a deaf guy and a guy with one arm on the same card.
Good signing for them, thought he finally retired
It'll be nice to see him pick up a few last wins before he calls it quits.
Surprised Bellator didnt jump on the chance to make the rematch of the century. Hamill vs Ortiz II...
Was this their big news?
I hope he's somewhat serious this time. He put up stinkers at the end of his UFC run. Some of the worst fights they had.
I didn't realize Hamill had left the UFC. I know he "retired" and then came back, but I thought he retired again.
That result still shocks me. Not saying Tito is great or anything, but Hamill thoroughly outwrestled him in that bout. Hamill's MMA wrestling was never that good, but he took Tito down and kept him down easily.
We already know Ortiz exposed Hamill's soft head.
I wonder if they're going to hype him as 'the only man to have a victory over Jon Jones.'
Ronny markes fight makes the most sense
They'd be stupid not to. Only other thing they could say is that he was robbed by corrupt judging or he'd have a victory over Michael Bisping.
I used to love this guy but haven't forgiven him since I spent $250 on a UFC ticket and ended up seeing he and Rampage in main event I actually fell asleep during. And that was being there live. No lie.
Losses to Rampage, Gus, Silva, Franklin, and sort of Bisping. Dude didn't look good in his last few and seemed checked out, but the dude didn't lose to anyone bad. Looking forward to seeing him get back in the cage.
"with defeats over the longest reigning UFC LHW Champion as well as the 2nd longest reigning UFC LHW Champion"
Markes or Francisco France make sense.
Separate names with a comma.
