DDOS attacks are fairly easy to do.
what it essentially is, is too much traffic, which again is simple to do. I'd tell normal businesses that their website would probably go down at yada yada time. No i'm not some hacker, i just paid a traffic redirecting service to point to that website instead, it'd only cost 5bucks to flood their servers w/ too much traffic, why? 99% of businesses use shit web hosting, easily searched through whois.
Why do this? to sell cyber security of course!
