Matt Brown's 3 year old boys sitting cageside, watching their dad almost kill a man

I thought he said that his kids were in Dana's office during the fight? Did I hear that wrong? Plus...kids this age aren't paying attention to what is going on. He knew he would win and is proud of his boys and wanted them in the octagon with him after the win. BFD. They looked so traumatized. Damn.

That's what I have a bigger problem with...leaving your kids with Dana White for a half hour. They might come back missing fingers.
 
Oh my the terror! Call children's service. Just another example of why Matt should be cut from the UFC. His wins are all meaningless as he only fights cans. I find his manliness intimidating so I hate him. He's a threat to the image of a metrosexual that a man should be. Tar & feathers & run him out of MMA.

Playoffs is nearly in round 3. I can't think of one fight.

America is very progressive in some ways but dark ages backwards in other ways.

At the end if the day it's up to parents to decide when they should expose their kids to combat sports but I def think teens are more then old enough.

It's not about kids becoming what they watch it's about sheltering their sensitive minds from graphic content whether it be violence, sex or gruesome accidents. At such a young age they're not capable of grasping and integrating such extreme visuals. There's plenty of time for that later when they're older but not toddlers.
 
I have a 3 year old and would never bring her to a fight.
At the same time, I have no idea what his family discussed before making that decision so I will not judge.

On a side note, I have let my daughter watch me play hockey on numerous occasions so if this is a sport and he teaches them that and at a young age explains that this is only for the octagon and so on and so forth it may be something he feels is good for them. Teach them that discipline early and when they are old enough to understand it won't trouble them.
Who knows. They're his kids and I respect any Father that loves their kids (which he very obviously does)!

Many aboriginal communities lived communally under one big structure, kids and all, fucking and all, so while I might agree with what you say in todays society it really is a factor of what is the norm at the time.

To some fucking is no less natural or traumatizing then eating.
 
I'm glad he does bring his kids to his fights, so when they grow up they won't be like most the posters in this thread

I live in Toronto too. lol

Its brutal. I've been to more regular season basketball games than NHL games because of it.

How is watching the person they respect most get joy from beating another guy while people are cheering different from seeing an accidental car crash where everyone involved is upset or hurt? What expression were you wearing when you typed that? Matt Brown can do whatever he wants with his kids but get real, young kids often imitate their parents.

How can you compare a porn star to a fighter? They are the complete opposite. Unless your thinking of war machine who is a complete disgrace to the sport, and someone I would never refer to as a fighter.

So its ok to explain to kids what sexual deviations are, but watching fights is abnormal now?
