The battle of the come back fighters a short while back it looked like both of these fighters career( UFC at least) were coming to an end. Now Matt brown is riding a four fight win streak and Hardy with a two fight win streak. Who do you see winning? My pick is brown and then the question is with a 5 fight win streak is he close to a title shot or at least a big step up in competition?

this has the potential to be a great fight. However, I doubt either of them will ever be relevant in the title picture again.

I'll take Brown though.

I agree both guys like to go out guns blazing, I also never see either being champion but Brown is definetly more title relevant then he ever has been before

Actually, the more I think about it, I could see Hardy taking a decision in a boring stand up fight.

The Welterweight title picture is totally booked right now, with Diaz, Hendricks, and you can expect Fitch to rack up a few more wins in 2013. I don't see Brown in title contention very soon even if he keeps winning.

I think Hardy via UD, more technical kickboxing. Great matchup, great fucking fight. Big fan of both dudes so wont want either to lose really. War and a draw would be awesome lol.

To address Browns potential title shot standing: I would guess he would have to beat 2-3 big names post a Hardy win so it's a way off yet.

i got Brown in this one. second round tko. Matt Brown is under-rated. Hardy is going to loose and then get cut

i like Matt Brown and i hope he wins this fight.

I think he is far from a title shot but if he wins this one ill give him a big fight like Kampmann, Ellenberger, Condit, etc

I like both, but I think Hardy will catch him, make him wobble a bit like Thompson did and get a tko.

Will be a great fight for sure! I think Hardy takes it by UD, but cant be surprised whatever happens.

Hope Brown takes it....who care about title contention....this should be a good fight for the fans....im surprised they didnt put both up against pure wrestlers or JJ guys

Should be a good fight but can see hardy hurting brown a couple of times and winning a ud or tko. Don't see brown taking dan down, and hardy has much better boxing, far more technical. The fact that brown is an aggressive fighter and hardy is an excellent counter puncher, I can see him landing that left hook at will and actually feel that this is not a great matchup for Matt.

Meh, so what?

The fight should be outstanding.

I think either Brown's going to knock Hardy out or NCAA Hardy is going to show up and take a decision.

If Matt comes in with a smart gameplan (which would be to take Hardy to the ground) he could win a decision or submit him. I think Brown is too much of an agressive guy who likes to bang bro, so I think he'll stand with Hardy. This is a pick'em fight to me. I'd pick Brown if I had to pick someone.

I like Matt Brown in this one. I don't know if hardy has ever really evolved. He beat a string of lower tier guys and snuck into a title shot when nobody was looking because he was in the right place at the right time when the UFC was trying to promote the sport in the UK.

Brown, on the other hand, looks like he's come a long way, and I don't see where Hardy makes it difficult for him, stylistically.

I don't see brown being able to handle any of the top guys wrestling. Remember the Stun Gun fight?

I got Hardy in this one, he has the better standup and I don't think Brown can make this fight stay on the ground IMO.
