Matt announced via Instagram he signed a contract to fight Condit on April 14 - UFC on Fox 29

I wish it was a couple of years ago, but... eh. It is what it is. Better late than never, I guess.

Idk, Brown’s last KO via elbow was NASTY!

I think Brown wins, hes more versatile in the clinch, even hits nice trips. Condit isnt the same, or his style his style is not working so well nowadays

Wtf I thought Brown has retired. He apparently had some real concussion issues after the Cerrone fight and I think even before that.

Wtf is he doing ina cage. Tbf Condit is equally as shot so I guess it has at least the thrill of a cripple fight or something to that extent

My boy Carlos is in some danger, even with a semi retired Brown.

Carlos tries to run in with that lead uppercut rear straight combination chin up and gets dropped or finished or he starts every combination with a non committal leg kick or snap kick that hits air and gets cracked while on one leg.

Condit is my dude but this is dangerous for him. Kinda hurts.

Hoping he overwhelms Matt to a tko via elbows or knees late in the fight.

Condits heart doesn't appear to be in it anymore, he used to be a killer, now he just lets people abuse him for pay.

May the blood of these fighters appease the God on this night.

I'd like to see Condit make one more run at the title. I don't see how fighting Matt Brown gets him anywhere.

Finally, a fight Condit can win. One of the most over-hyped fighters ever. LOL

Condit cares more about his coffee shop than fighting or training. Dude should just retire, he looked awful against Magny.

That elbow on Sanchez was almost the funniest thing I've ever seen in MMA...

I agree that it would have been great in their primes.

But these are the type of fights I do really support for aging fighters (legends) who have flirted with retirement and just do not want to hang em up.

I hate when a prior big name, everyone knows is past it comes back and is given a huge fight against the newest up and coming killer in the ranks so that killer can get a big name win on his resume.

I do really think the UFC should create a 'legends' carve out where they can take advantage of these big name and draw guys still fighting but in dream matchups we might have been hoping for years ago but that can happen now.

<LikeReally5>

its not Matt Brown, win or lose, that is going to keep Condit from another title shot.

Both are shot to bits but at least Brown still has his killer instinct, Condit looked like he wanted to be anywhere but in the cage against Magny.
