I'm looking for some 3x3 (preferebly) or even 4x4 1" thick mats to set up at home in a spare bedroom. To be used to BJJ/Grappling. No live takedowns...

I would use the puzzle mats for easy storage and set up. But I do NOT like the texture of the cheap puzzle mats from Harbour Freight/Home depot meant for garage use or similar.

Anyone have decent puzzle mats they can recommed?

Under $10 per mat is a plus!

I don’t know of any decent 1” MMA mats for under $10 a mat, what’s the maximum your willing to spend/coverage area?

Those foam puzzle mats are horrible for any kind of movement. They do well stopping light weights from slamming on floor but they come apart when you move fast on them. Toes will lift up the mesh points and once wet, you'll bust your ass on sweat puddles.

Bit the bullet and found a Dollamur mat on ebay. Just hawked it for a long time until 1 at right size came in at discount price.
