    He's not wrong though. All the sudden there are so many " long time fans" despite him hardly ever even being mentioned around here unless its a "he lost to Masvidal, lol" type comments.

    As an actual long time fan " feel free to go through my history to verify) it's nice to see him finally getting some well deserved exposure (by feeding the current desire for drama unfortunately) but it sucks we're now going to be subjected to constant "3 piece and a soda" posts from all the unoriginal parrots who think repeating someone else's 1 liner is the pinnacle of wit, lol.

    Sadly this will also get them plenty of highly coveted (for some unknown reason) "likes" from fellow un- clever posters further encouraging this behavior!!

    It really is a vicious cycle.

    He is like the intelligent Nick Diaz archetype, what Conor McGregor ever wanted to be, a true street cred OG, he backs it up. When Conor bumrushes Aldo he holds for security. Masvidal and Khabib don't do that.

    Benson fight he lost a close one. Iaquinta he lost but I agree bullsheet decision. Jorge has great technical ability but there has always been something missing. He would fight too safe, gas out (Maia), and there were rumors his personal life were a mess. He also had lingering knee problems that affected his training. Maybe he can make a Lawler type run here. That would be fun.
