Not only the guy handled himself pretty well towards Michael Perry's trash talk and put up a great fight last night, his approach after the fight also deserves the mention. He says he wants to be on the UFC rankings, step by step, and even though he acknowledges how things have changed in the "Conor McGregor era" (Jouban's words) regarding promotion, he doesn't choose to disrespect anyone or even create fake beefs on social media - he says he wants to make his case his way, by winning fights with style points. Jouban's 5-1 in his last 6, he has three Fight of the Night bonuses in his UFC carreer, great knockouts and out of his only two losses, the Alves' decision was an absolute disaster if you ask me. Ok, he's 35, he'll hardly get anywhere near the belt, but it's always good to see fighters like him in the UFC: skillful, solid competitors, articulate, who are willing to put up great performances. Spoiler: TW: THINGS GET A LITTLE HOMO FROM HERE He's also handsome af tl;dr: WAR JOUBAN, the guy is for real.
