Just trying to stir some life into the godman forum today!! LOL.

So the undercard is looking better and better.

So far, we got Daniel Santos Vs Jose Antonio Rivera and Golota Vs McBride (weird eh?)

I'd also like to touch on Maskeav's chances of outboxing Peter. Anyone giving Oleg that chance? there's alot of time between fights, and if Peter comes in over 250 again, its quite possible Oleg simply refuses to exchange, and outpoint's Peter with his jab. I know, it's not a smart bet, but it's a possible outcome ya know?

**update** Should have thought of this, but the "HW title being decided on ESPN" wasn't for Peter/Maskeav , it was for Holyfield/Igbramov .

Did you just say Golota vs McBride????

It a decent card but almost every boxing fan I know will be watching Taylor-Pavlik on HBO on the same night

Even if peter is 250 I think his youth will allow him to out manuever the flat-footed and ring-worn oleg.

As much as I'd like to see Oleg win, it just doesn't look good. Peter showed off some boxing skill when he whipped up on James Toney. Oleg's only hope is to keep his guard up througout, and try to hit Peter with enough right hands and taking as few as possible in return to eventually catch him with one that hurts him and stops him.

Glassjaw, where did you get this news, from Dan Rafael?

Oh, it's just my e-mail group, it's nothing really to take to the bank or anything. Just heard the HW title might be up on ESPN (which i didn't understand), and those were looking to be the undercard. (which again, i didn't understand lol) .

Just wanted to know if anyone else had heard of this ?

Taylor - Pavlick is September 29th (the week before) in AC.

Pacquiao - Barrera is the same night on PPV.

Golota should bring out a few thousand Poles to MSG and Mcbride might manage a thousand or so Micks to see him get KO'd in the first 3 rounds.

I rarley buy PPV's so Ill be watching the Big O, its a more important fight anyways.

Hmm, a question in and of itself ya know?

Manny Vs MAB, or Oleg Vs Peter ?

Personally, I'll take Pavlik Vs Taylor on free HBO :D!

Golota v. MCCline should be titled the battle of the fifth last chance for each guy. These guys are like cats with nine lives. Everytime you think their careers are dead, they resurface.

Wrong Irish guy:D

Golota is scheduled to fight Kevin Mcbride not Jameel McCline. Mcbride is best known for gutting Mike Tyson like a fish.

Mcline is scheduled to fight Vitali September 22nd in Germany for the heayweight championship of rebuilt knees.

It's kind of a battle of opposites- McBride a guy with physical limitations who has some heart and sense for his flaws, and Golota has the skill to have been a world champion, but is the definition of a mental midget.

Has the Briggs fight been scrapped? I was looking forward to that one. Garay is supposed to be pretty good as his only two losses are both questionable ones to Erdei.
