"Martirosyan fought more in 2 rounds than Canelo did in 12"-GGG

I think he is more frustrated by the Clenbuterol in Alvarez's system and the eventual cancellation of the fight than he is anything else. If he stirs the pot so Alvarez plants his feet, then so be it.

You might be right but it also smells desperate to get a high payday off of another fighter

If he feels he is a cheat why not go after the Unification of belts, or the new narrative it's more important to stay active than unifying the belts

1. huge payday - what did they say was traded 20,000,000 for one million vs Martirosyan?
2. unifying belts hasn't happened in years - it is a tremendous opportunity to show leave a lasting impression
3. staying busy is good for a fighter so they don't rust and decay on the shelf at such an advanced age (Bhop knew this)

These aren't new narratives, they are competing demands that have always been there in Golovkin's career.

I want all the belts

Canelo comes along

Ummm it's more important to stay busy than

Looks bad , no way around IT.
Look what they said about Ward , oh he isn't fighting top guys , If he said it's more important to stay busy , he would be roasted

of course, golovkin is showing obvious signs of mental frustration with his desperate attempts to yada yada yada

lol

That's bullshit.
Canelo did more off the ropes in the 5th round than Vanes did at all.

Whatever Martirosyan did, it didn't end well for him.

Canelo does need to do more in a rematch though. He got pretty favorable scores and managed to get a draw, but the general feeling in boxing seems to be that Canelo lost that first fight with GGG. He needs to do more if they end up rematching.

It's competing demands and a lot of things to consider at the end of his career. Why make bold, narrow peoclamations when he doesn't know how things play out.

No one believes that.

Well, except Canelo landed more power shots than Golovkin in the majority of the rounds.

Golovkin starting to sound like a sore loser (or uh.... drawer I guess) mad that his opponent doesn't hold still and let him KO him.

Your Golovkin hate/Alvarez praise is hilarious.

Once again folks, the only guy on Earth to think Bradley beat Pac, Ward beat Kovalev, and Canelo beat Golovkin. All 3. It's a miracle.

I scored Pac/Bradley a draw. Ward did beat Kovalev. Twice. And yes, I thought Canelo outboxed Golovkin. These things are common knowledge with the regulars in the boxing forum. What exactly this has to do with what I posted, I couldn't say and I doubt you could either.

alvarez landed a total of 4 more power punches, had the higher power punch count 7 rounds to 5, was outlanded by 49 punches in total, and was outlanded in 10 rounds, with one round being equal in landed punches.

golovkin sounds like a sore winner to me.

Too bad fights are scored round by round. Maybe if you guys knew this, you wouldn't whine about every fight being a robbery.

if only the judges knew that, perhaps they wouldn't have rendered it a draw when one fighter outlands the other 10 rounds to 1.

I've been ridiculed on this forum for saying a guy controlled a round with a jab.

This forum likes power punches until a power puncher loses.

Golovkin got outboxed and the same will happen when they rematch.
