Easily. No one cares about Assuncao.
I think the same way. Rivera was a damned good win. Both deserve it but Marlon just a smidgeon more.Marlon has beaten better competition since the loss.. but Raphael is damn near close too.
People get hyped for Moraes' finishes then they hear his post fight interview voice and it's
I think the UFC should either stop interviewing him or put a pitch shifter on that mic so he doesn't sound like a 12-year-old girl. At this point it's doing him a lot of unnecessary harm.
11-2 in the UFC, has a win over the current champion by split decision that was avenged with a decisive victory. Has one finish in his last 8 fights. If the question is who "deserves" a title shot, then I'd say it's clearly Assuncao. The guy is 11-1 in the UFC, has won 4 fights in a row, holds a win over Moraes (even if it's controversial), and has a win over the current champion. If that's not enough to earn a title shot, I don't know what is.
But this is the UFC. Being "deserving" isn't a prerequisite for getting a title shot.
Good to see you around again, @Codpiece.I think the same way. Rivera was a damned good win. Both deserve it but Marlon just a smidgeon more.
Thanks mate! Work and kids have been keeping me super busy.Good to see you around again, @Codpiece.
I can only imagine. Welcome back. It´s always good to have a balanced poster like you here. Thanks mate! Work and kids have been keeping me super busy.
I meant to say 11-1 in his last 12 UFC fights, but you get my point. And yes, TJ earned a decisive victory over in their rematch. That makes them 1-1, which usually means a rubber match is on deck. Hell, Cody lost more decisively to TJ and, unlike Assuncao, doesn't have a win over TJ, yet he's getting an instant rematch.11-2 in the UFC, has a win over the current champion by split decision that was avenged with a decisive victory.
