Ive seen a lot of threads regarding Hunt's power and chin, but the reeeal question is, could Mark Hunt knock out Mark Hunt? :)
 
yeah he could, no chin is KO proof but a big man hitting a big man KOs can ensue.
 
I think yes but first Hunt must deliver some beating to soften up Hunt.

Or vice versa.
 
Good thread in theory but the answer is an obvious yes. Hunt has Ben KOed 2 time so we know he is not invincible.
Damn durable but not invincible.
 
Melvin seriously has terrifying power.

I think he could be mma's hardest hitter.

Hunt would knock hunt out easily unless hunt caught him coming in. All he'd have to to is weather the storm and later in the fight, hunt would actually have a pretty good shot of knocking hunt out.
 
BUT... does Mark Hunt KO Mark Hunt before he gasses?

and I say no. Maybe a tired Mark Hunt picks up the ko, but I think they will be able to take a few shots and then both gas.

My theory on Hunt vs Hunt. Hunt tends to ko guys when they tire and slow down a bit rather than a blinding speed ko which also happens to be Hunt's weakness as he can usually slip pretty well. So I think Hunt and Hunt go toe to toe in a good battle that slows down considerably in the later rounds, despite a late comeback by Hunt, Hunt takes it by UD.
 
If Mark knew it was coming, he could handle it. His issue is when the punch comes unexpected.

No one is invincible of course but Hunto has a very durable chin and massive amounts of power he is the first in the ufc to KO nelson and it wasn't a full powered hit. If Hunto gets a title shot and lands on Cain there is no doubt he can put him out.
 
In New Zealand we have a saying when someone says something inappropriate or dumb it's "give yourself an uppercut mate" so maybe Hunt could test this saying out haha.

PS: not sure about the last two signs tho, the research money were not sufficient so that's as close as I can get :(
 
Hunt has been knocked out. So Hunt can knock out Hunt. Pretty simple.
 
Melvin was kinda lucky when he KO'ed Hunt, but the guy has extreme power, no doubt!

Can't we just divide both sides by 1.34350987587921?
