Mark Hunt's place in history -- HW all time list?

Mark Hunt now has 6 or 7* wins over Top 10 Ranked Opponents (HW, SHW*). And an epic DRAW with Antonio Silva. His biggest still being the win over Top 3 Ranked Mirko Cro Cop.

Name-recognition aside (warning to Casualcores)...
Has Mark Hunt surpassed Frank Mir on the HW All Time list?

Obviously Frank Mir's "UFC belt" didn't mean anything more than Nick Diaz' Strikeforce Belt...did NOT represent the best in the World. Adding context to that "accomplishment"... Frank Mir just had a couple of great wins, a total of five wins over Top 10 ranked opponents.

No. Mir has won two UFC titles and more top 10 wins. Plus he has a better record than Hunt.
 
No. It's too late in Mir's career for this win to mean much. The glory days for Mir are over.
 
In mma? Nah. In fight sports overall though yeah, Hunt is better than Mir.

Still a clear top 10 win. Mir had b2b KOs and arguably beat Arlovski.

Two more top wins id say he surpasses Mir. Most of their top wins are the same funny enough.

Cro Cop, Roy, Kongo, Bigfoot. Both crumpled Bigfoot about the same, as well as Kongo. Hunts win against Roy and CroCop was better.

Mirs Sylvia and Nog wins still keeps him ahead. Brock was 1-0 at the time, wasnt a top win.
 
Hunt has no real notable wins in k-1

and his best win in MMA is probably a split decision over Cro Cop back in 2005

No way is he top 10

Hunt needs to win a title to pass Mir. Hunt would have a hard time making the top 15 all time.

I don't see 10 HW's all time that would have an advantage over Hunt. If Mark Hunt is in shape he is easily top 10 all time. After his competitive losses to three all time greats he just wandered for a bit till he came back to the UFC.

He is always competitive thats true

He just doesn't have the wins

I'm not sure why any of that makes the HW title not valuable. The most the Pride HW title, or any HW title, had been defended is 3 times.

lol @ the first part. Wins > titles. Who do u rank higher, Serra or Rory Macdonald?

I agree about the 2nd sentence for now.
