Main event for UFC Japan is Mark Hunt vs Roy Nelson on Sept 21!!!
Oh shit. Here we go.
it would seem someone is going to get knocked out
This is awesome
Some fat guy is taking a nap!
I'm hoping it's not Nelson on the floor after those two brutes smash each other in the face for glory.
That is a battle
Hunt via technical striking, cardio, and Roy Nelson having too much pride and not wanting to take him down. Could end in a blink either way though. Will be funz0rs.
If they add Overeem along with the expected guys like Gomi, Horiguchi and Mizugaki? It'll be friggin great.
I have Hunt winning this one pretty easily if Big Country can't take it to the mat.
Fight I've been wanting to see for a long time.
About time they went at it. Should be a war.
Only if they put it on FS1 instead of Fight Pass.
That would be way too good a card to have nobody see it.
Rumor is the Dublin card has so much buzz they are talking with Fox about putting it on FS1.
I expect the same could be done here if they air this event at a certain time. Fox isnt gonna air a card that airs at 8am or anything.
WOuld have to be a morning card in Japan to air at night in the US.
Two biggest swingers.
Two best chins.
Two guys that bring the fight.
Should be awesome.
*Disclaimer: These fights that seem like such a sure thing always end in some random crap like a DQ for illegal cup checks or some crazy unexpected thing like Hunt winning by flying arm triangle. I called it here first.
If this goes to the ground it's going to be ugly.
I'd enjoy Hunt knocking Big country the fuck out.
I doubt we'll see Overeem on this card. It would be too good for a foreign fight night.
pretty good matchup for hunt.
Now you're putting conspiracies in my head like ufc pulled wanderlei out just to fight in Japan
Battle of the bellies
Or it winds up like Beltran-Maldonado where what should have been a fun, messy brawl was a shit fight with Beltran doing his best Randy Couture impression lol.
Separate names with a comma.
