So I was at the Bellator show in Houston last Friday night and out in the lobby/foyer/food court of the Toyota Center I just happened to see a guy wearing an old faded Mark Hall t-shirt that looked like it was from the 90's. As a fan of old school MMA I thought it was the coolest t-shirt I had seen all day, so I decided to take a picture of it since it has to be rare right? As I'm getting my phone ready to snap a pic of this t-shirt the guy turns around and it is Mark Hall himself.

For those unfamiliar Hall fought in UFC 7 making it to the semi-finals of the tournament where he gave up like 100 pounds to Paul Varelans. He was a bit of a fan favorite in the old days after his fearless performance against Varelans and his win over Koji Kitao at UFC 9.

I thought it was cool running into Mark Hall randomly like that, I gave him a lot of respect telling him that I was a big fan of his and that I had a lot of respect for him being one of the original guys that put it all on the line with no rules/weight classes. He was a very nice guy. I tried to get a pic with him but my phone fucked up, I was kind of nervous it just kind of happened out of nowhere.

He actually sat there and talked to me for several minutes, going on about a comeback fight against Ken Shamrock. He said something about them supposedly fighting in Pride back in the day but Ken backed out and he tried to sue him or something.

So was I the only person that noticed him last weekend? What is he on about with this comeback against Shamrock?
